KARIMU, Diocese of Central Tanganyika, Africa, to help start the Women's Development and Education Project, which will help educate the wives of students at Msalato Theological College. Comprehensive Development Project of the Haiti Fund, Inc., Leogane, Haiti, for the installation of ten cisterns/water catchment systems to allow for clean, treatable water in an area where, among other things, the infant mortality rate tops 40% due in large part to water borne contaminants. Hogar Escuela-Guarari, Guarari, San Jose, Costa Rica, to help create a school that will provide educational and vocational programs as well as childcare for impoverished and marginalized single mothers and their children living in the drug ridden, violent community of Guarari. Modeled after the more established Hogar Escuela in San Jose's Barrio Cuba area, this program will also incorporate Christian education and parenting classes. Meets Goals 1, 2 & 3.
